So, you're on the car park, and it's a race
For the last disabled car park space
You're not disabled, but who's gonna know?
You park up the car, but there's G.I. Joe
A man with a walking stick knows your game
Hurdles a car, although he's lame
Does a "Linford Christie" with arms a-flailing
And pins you against the car park railing
"We fought and died in war-torn places"
"So  you could nick our parking spaces?"
You go to thank him and resume your spree
When you feel the pang of irony
Another pang explodes your legs
As the weapon wielding wise man assaults your kegs
Your painful pins begin to fold
The old guys eyes glaze over cold
The Rambo squint and the Bogart sneer
Transform his face from ear to ear
This once mild-mannered "walk away and sulk"
Is a green tinged double of "The Inerdible Crulk"
"Get that rusting heap of shite"
"Outta my spot and outta my sight"
So you jump in your car and reverse away
And live to park another day
An hour and an inch of tyre rubber later
You grip your shopping list and your calculator
As your white knuckled hands grab the very last trolley
An old girl floors you with her rolled up brolly
Snatches her prize with the twitchy castor
Cranks up "Korn" on her mega sound blaster
Swivels on her heels and gives you the finger
Sports a black leather with "World Of Hurt Bringer"
Stitched on a label just above the tallies
Of drag-race wins at the biker rallies
"Make my day" her false teeth hiss
"And don't call me 'Mithith' 'cos I'm a 'Mith'"
She rolls up her cardigan and shows you her fat
For just above the navel there's a black and white "tat"
That declares in defiance "The good die young"
"I'm Bad" she coughs with her one good lung
With that she spits and walks away
Praying that another will "Make her day"
